Retrospection and Introspection

Time elapses so fast and it reaches the last day of year 2007. Recalling those days when i just arrived Brisbane at the beginning of year 2006, it was so difficult for me to go through everyday coz i had a serious homesick and a series of mishaps maybe.

I think 2 years staying at Aussie land has gained me lots of experience and has increased my understanding and sensitivity to the realities of life and world. It has made me to become more mature, in dealing with the matter of complicated relationship between friends, and to prepare myself to the life of profession.

I feel grateful to them who had nearly push me to the abyss of perplexity and poignancy, coz they taught me to be more perseversed and tough to undertake all my future responsibilities.
On the other hand, i should be introspective to all the mistakes i have done and repent to my friends and companions for all the negligence and misunderstanding.

All in all, i hope year 2008 would be a prosperous and smooth year for me to embark on my career and rekindle my passion for life.

In Great Harmony

Whenever i come into deep contemplation, i will truly ponder on the matter of religions. I feel quite intangible and disheartened coz there are turmoil and chaos across all religions' organizations. Don't God, Buddha and other Enlightened Souls advocate one love among all?

To me, religion is the teachings of respective enlightened founder to his/her believers in order to instil a sense of kindness, happiness, love and harmony within one self and towards others. Only through enlightenment, we can return to the ultimate origin or what we call emptiness in Buddhism.

Sometimes, i really feel quite surprised and poignant when i read those news related to religions' fraundsters using the name of religion to cheat others and commit blasphemous deeds. Furthermore, i think it is such a naive, uncultivated and disrecpectful act to critique religions others than yours. In my scheme of thing, it should be boundless across religions, as all roads lead to Rome.

All in all, i believe that we all come from the same origin, and finally we all return to the same origin. All religions are in one great harmony.

Wonderful and blessed X'mas luncheon

Today is Christmas day. I was quite hectic for the whole morning preparing all the stuffs and ingredients for the luncheon of around 10 people. Although i had to wake up early in the morning, i felt contented and happy coz this was my pride to serve my friends a sumptuous meal, especially on this blessed Christmas.

After 5 hours bustling around in the kitchen with my partner, our very first endeavour resulted in a decent and delicious meal. Lets the photos express everything, which is a better way to show our efforts and result. There were roast turkey and roast chicken, mixed vege and mashed potatoes, bruschetta with spiced tomatoes and cream cottage cheese, raisins and butter cake, and garlic butter potatoes.

Meanwhile, my partner's friends made some lovely and tasty appetizers. There were the macaroni and fruits, popiahs and sushi.

Everybody seemed so enjoyed to their meal and was immersed in the air of harmony despite they had to huddle up in the small dining room. The luncheon ended with the gifts exchange and drew a wonderful and consummated rest.

Feliz Navidad.

Festive season

Today is Christmas eve, a blessed and serene day for family members or friends to reunion and have their dinner together. I think i will be having a wonderful Christmas eve today coz this is the very first year i celebrate it, and with my friends overseas.

Our rendezvous is at Casino's Blackjack Restaurant for the decent and lovely buffet. Though this is a gathering, it is also a farewell dinner for one of my good friend, who will leave us on Christmas. Anyway , i wish her Godspeed and safe journey.

Yeahz, the Baxter bear, i think i have bought four of these cutie little bears for my grad friends and birthday friend, as well as Christmas present for exchange. Should i buy one for myself? Noooo,i want cash! Hahahahaha...

Last but not least, wish all readers and my friends a blessed and merry Christmas. May God bless all beings with love, happiness, joys, hopes and lucks.

Cheerio!

To all my readers, hope u enjoy my blog and leave me a comment for further enhancement.
